A t any given moment the earth is pulling every cell in our bodies toward it’s center with 14.7lbs of force per square inch!  This powerful phenomenon, known as gravity, enables us to stand and decides when we fall.  Likewise, our bodies are both dependent on gravity to properly function and threatened by it when they are dysfunctional.  Learning how to relate to gravity as an anchoring point  for our structure to organize around rather than a burden our structure cannot bear will enable us to experience the quality of health we truly desire.  

Compass Adjustment

Just as the needle of a compass needs to point north for effective navigation, we also need to be upright and open in order to move with freedom and safety.  When our posture has collapsed into disorganized, disconnected segments, we  often experience pain syndromes, energy deficiencies, and a vast number of degenerative, neurological, cardiovascular, and cellular diseases as a result.  The compass adjustment restores postural integrity by supporting specific areas of breakdown in the spine and extremities. 

Compass Journey

40 min.  $110 

The compass journey shares many of the same characteristics as the compass adjustment.  However, with additional time, we can investigate deeper into the complex layers of your structure.  This appointment is great for those experiencing high levels of acute pain needing extra attention, have multiple areas of complaint in the arms and legs, or have chronic pain that “just won’t go away.” 

Compass Quest

60 min.  $160

Sometimes the chemistry of our body is less about what we eat and more about what we think.  Sometimes our aches and pains are more about the way we feel than what structures have been damaged.  What is your body trying to teach you about yourself?  Processing emotional trauma that is stored in the body is one of our greatest challenges.  We often don’t allow ourselves to fully acknowledge the pain in our bodies because of how that pain clashes with our self identity.  Our bodies hold on to pain to ensure personal growth occurs.  The Compass Quest is designed to allow time to feel and identify the emotional states, thought patterns, and beliefs about ourselves/world that lock us into painful energetic holding patterns.  The Compass Quest incorporates elements of the Compass Adjustment while designating a large portion of time to stillness, energy work, craniosacral, as well as deeper conversation.  

Foundation Training

20 min.  $40

Dr. Dan is a Level 1 Foundation Training instructor.  Foundation Training is a series of bodyweight exercises that teaches the body to adapt with muscular support to feel, move, and function better.  With the continual pressure of gravity, especially while sedentary, our joints often learn to collectively rest on themselves rather than their surrounding muscles.  This compresses the organs and joints and causes a cascade of health problems.  Instead, if we practice upright and expansive postures through actively engaging our muscles and breath, our health will thrive.  Breathing is the first step to autonomy, control, and better posture. With more expansion in our breath we become more of ourselves.  Foundation Training will help you maintain your physical health with minimal time out of your day and will help you recover faster following acute injury.
